I recently read an article that said on average we spend nearly one-third of our day at work. The article also said that often times when we are not happy at our jobs, the rest of lives typically suffer. Finally, that same article said that nearly 70% of people don't feel satisfied with their choice of career. How about you? Are you satisfied with your career choice? Have you made a career choice? How do you know what career is the best fit for you? There are many things that go into that decision, of course, but one thing that can help you determine some realistic and helpful options is to take an interest survey or assessment. According to the folks at CareerOneStop.org, "an interest assessment can help you identify careers that meet your interests. Interest assessments usually ask you a series of questions about what you like and don't like to do. Then they match your likes and dislikes to careers."
