I have spent the past 25 years teaching others. From the more formal settings of the classroom and church to the less formal settings of camp, conference center, youth club, corporate conference room—I even taught English in a casino once—my passion for helping others through teaching has never waned. In fact, it has only become stronger and clearer over time.
My calling as a teacher may be summed up in this way: I desire to help others become more confident and skilled learners so that they might effectively learn to use the skills and knowledge gained from their past and their present to accomplish the goals of their future. |
